Annual Sports meet-2023

LMCHM & MMCHM Annual sports meet 2023 was conducted on 8^th and 9^th November 2023 in AJ institute .Several events were conducted like running race, shortput, Discuss throw, javelin throw and long jump. Indoor sports meet 2023 was conducted on 26^th October 2023 in college auditorium. Several games were conducted like chess, carom, table tennis and ludo.

MUGGU-2023

Inter college Rangoli competition was conducted for Pre University Colleges in our college on 4^th November 2023, The students enthusiastically participated by showcasing their skills. Mrs. Pooja Rakesh Bhat and Mrs. Vanitha Basker were the Judges for the event.

Teachers Parents Meeting-2023

Teachers parents meeting held for all the batch on 14th October 2023 from 9:30am to 1:00pm in college class room.

A Guest talk on “Gender Sensitization”

The Women Anti-Harassment Committee had organized talk on topic “Gender Sensitization” on 10th October 2023 at 02:30pm in College Auditorium.MC Was Mr. Ashrith M from 5th sem. The key speaker invited was Prof. Mahesh chandra Nayak, Associate Professor who is working in SDM Law College and centre for PG studies and research in Law. Resource person was welcomed by Ms. Shreya B, Women Anti-Harassment Committee Co-Ordinator by offering a flower Bouquet. Then Prof. Maheshchandra Nayak explained about the Gender Sensitization, as well as generate Gender awareness to the students. Memento was handed over to Prof. Maheshchandra Nayak at the end of the program by Principal Prof. Prasanna Shetty.

College Tour -2023

College Tour was organized for Final year students from 26th September 2023 to 30th September 2023 to explore the famous tourism places like Kodaikanal, Vineyard and Munnar.

Inter Collegiate Fest-“ALCHEMIST-2023”

Srinivas University Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism Mangalore had conducted Cocktail Competition on 27th September 2023 in which our students had participated. and Mr. Ranjith Gowda of 3rd semester had won 1st prize in Cocktail making.

Maveli Pokkonam-Onam 2023

Onam program was conducted on 14th September 2023 in college. The program started with the lighting the lamp by our Principal Prof. Prasanna Shetty and the Students.. Culture program included Thiruvali dance, Holivesha by our students and delicious “ Onam Sadhya” was severed. Pookalam Competition was held for students, winners of pookalam competition is
I. Mr. Deviprasad Shetty and Team (1st semester) won 1st place
II. Mr. Athul and Team (5th semester) won 2nd place in.

Fresher’s Day 2023

Fresher’s Day was conducted to the 1^st semester students in college auditorium on September 07 2023.The program started with the lighting the lamp by our Class coordinator and the Students.

Competition for Fresher’s

Cooking Competition, menu card Designing and Drawing competition was conducted in our college from 25 July 2023 to 28 July 2023. The competition was done for first year students so that they can show their passion and start their new journey with passion in L.M.C.H.M.

Industrial Visit

AJ Grand Hotel Visit was organized to the first year students on 22 July 2023 to know the areas of operations in the hotel.

Farewell for 6th semester 2023

Farewell Party was conducted for the 6th semester students was held in college auditorium on July 13 2023.The program started with the lighting the lamp by our Principal Prof. Prasanna Shetty, Associate Professor Mr. Shailesh and the Students.

Induction Program

The Induction Program was conducted on 8th July 2023 in college auditorium. Prof. Prasanna Shetty Principal, gave speech to the gathering and explained the rules and regulation of the college also gave brief talk regarding the parent role and student role for the college.

Ethnic Day 2023

Ethnic Day 2023 was conducted in College Auditorium on 7th June 2023. The program started with the lighting the lamp by our Principal Prof. Prasanna Shetty and the Students.

Inter Collegiate Fest-“B-Quest Fest”

Besant College had conducted “B-Quest fest 2023” on June 8th 2023 for UG students in which our students had participated in various events, in 2 events are students bagged 1st and 2nd place i.e,

Mr Nitesh Nishith D’souza (4th semester) won 1st place in Vegetable Carving Competition
Mr. Gautham and Mr. Glawin D’souza (4th semester) won 2nd place in Model Making with waste Management.

“Design Fest” By IDS College 2023

IDS Indian Design School had conducted Design Fest 2023 on 16^th May 2023 in which our students had participated in various events, in 2 events are students bagged 1^st and 2^nd place i.e,

Mr. Russel Ambrose Fernandes (4^th semester) Won 1^st place in eating competition.
Mr. Russel Ambrose Fernandes and Mr. Madhava PJ (4^th semester) Won 2^nd place in cooking with fire.

Inter Collegiate Fest “EXCELSO 2023”

Milagres College had organized Inter Collegiate Fest “EXCELSO 2023” on May 06 2023 various events were held for students. Our students had participated in some events and Ms. Raksha (2^nd semester) had won 1^st prize in Mocktail making.

A Guest talk on “ Drug Abuse”

A talk was organized by Youth Red Cross Wing of the college on 4th May 2023. On the topic “Drug Abuse” in college auditorium. The key speaker invited Mrs. Lydia Lobo, Administrator, LINK Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts, Bajal, Mangalore. The resource person briefly explained all the causes, categories affects of drug.

Career Guidance Program

Career Guidance Program was conducted in college auditorium on 27th April 2023. The resource person were Royson Rodrigues Senior Marketing Manager, UNIABROAD Study Abroad Experts.

"HAR GHAR DHYAN” Meditation Program

On 13th January 2023 we have conducted a program called “HAR GHAR DHYAN” Meditation Program in college auditorium. The resource person were Mr. Sudhir Kumar Urwa Teacher of Art of Living gave a talk on meditation and conducted the session of Meditation and Mrs. Amitha Sudhir-Teacher of Art of Living taught breathing techniques.

Drawing competition on account of “Swami Vivekananda Jayanti”

Drawing competition on account of “Swami Vivekananda Jayanti” Which is celebrated as “NATIONAL YOUTH DAY” ON 12th January 2023 at College Library.
